Kids ages 9-13 are invited to immerse themselves in the wonders of Antelope Island and Great Salt Lake. Each day from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., campers learn about wildlife, birds, insects, salt and brine shrimp. Part of the journey will be an exploration of the beaches by canoe. Participants can sign up for one day or all three. Cost is $25 per day and includes entrance into the park, supplies and lunch. Space is limited and registration is required. Dave Oleyar from Hawkwatch International will talk about owl adaptations, ecology and identification, April 11, 2015. He will focus on the owls that can be found on Antelope Island. Come to the 22nd Annual Antelope by Moonlight Bike Ride on July 3, 2015. This popular family friendly, non-competitive bike ride is open to participants of all ages and starts at Antelope Island's White Rock Bay. Come early for a tailgate party. The halfway point is the historic Fielding Garr Ranch where refreshments are served until midnight. Proceeds from the ride are used for visitor oriented projects on the Island.
