This monthly workshop is presented by the Rockhounders Outreach for Community Knowledge (R.O.C.K.), and features a lecture and presentation given by a new speaker each month. R.O.C.K. was founded by individuals fascinated by the beauty and history of our earth in 2011. As an educational organization we are dedicated to the advancement of fossil, rock, and mineral collecting, and related lapidary arts. New members and guests are always welcome. Monthly meetings are fun and informative with great guest speakers, displays, demonstrations, silent auctions, door prizes, and refreshments. This year's annual Spring into Books Community event will be held May 28, 2016. Come meet and mingle with local Utah authors who will be selling and signing their books, including Lisa Mangum (The Hourglass Door Trilogy), Tristi Pinkston (The Secret Sisters Mysteries), Adam Sidwell (Evertaster), and Paul Genesse (the Iron Dragon Series). There will be carnival games for the kids, free workshops on fiction and writing, author readings, poetry, food trucks and so much more.
