Description: The Anthropology Film Series is a collaborative project between the Utah Museum of Fine Arts and the University of Utah's Anthropology Department that will introduce students and visitors to films highlighting the theme of family. Films contain adult content and are subject to change. Prior to each, film the UMFA will offer a discussion of artworks related to the theme of the film. "A Separation" (Iranian) tells the story of a married couple faced with a difficult decision - to improve the life of their child by moving to another country or to stay in Iran and look after a deteriorating parent who has Alzheimer's disease.
