Description: The Wasatch Wildflower Festival is an event hosted at the four Cottonwood Canyons ski areas to celebrate the beauty and diversity of wildflowers in the Wasatch. The wildflower festival's guided walks and activities are designed to be fun, family-friendly, non-commercial, free of charge, and open to all interests and ability levels. Volunteers share their knowledge and enthusiasm for an amazing variety of species on a variety of beautiful walks. The walks also reinforce careful stewardship and awareness of the ecology of our watershed environment. Visit cottonwoodcanyons.org/events for information. Locations: July 22 – Brighton @ Milly Chalet parking lot, July 23 – Solitude @ Solitude Village, July 29 Alta @ Albion Day Lodge, July 30 - Snowbird @ Snowbird Center. Saturday hikes begin at 8 a.m. and last hike starts at 1 p.m., Sunday hikes begin at 9 a.m. and last hike starts at 2 p.m.
