The County Library is celebrating refugees all during July 2017. We All Eat, on July 29, is a food festival highlighting global cuisine with refugee communities in Salt Lake County, with feature presentations on food dishes from different cultures, demonstrations on new cooking techniques, and stories from refugees new to our community. This afternoon showcase will feature free smells, though food and drink will be available for purchase from various vendors supported by Spice Kitchen Incubator. Hope, Strength and Courage - A special discussion at Columbus with Mr. Aden Batar from Catholic Community Services will be held July 17 at 7 p.m.; Book discussion around refugee stories to be held at the Columbus Senior Center on July 26, 10:15 a.m.
