Musicology professor Susan Neimoyer shares her research on newly discovered piano music of George Gershwin in her lecture, "After the Rhapsody: George Gershwin in the Spring of 1924." These piano pieces are among the earliest music Gershwin wrote right after the premiere of Rhapsody in Blue, affording them a significant place in the history of American music.

"Play-by-Play," will provide developmental rehearsal periods for three new plays in early 2014, with the playwright working alongside a professional director and cast for a week-long residency, culminating in three public readings of each play available at a very modest cost. "Alabama Story" by Kenneth Jones, will have its public readings on April 4 at 8 p.m. and April 5 at 2 and 8 p.m, in the Dumke Auditorium of the Utah Museum of Fine Arts.
