The Runnin' flUtes celebrate spring with an evening of charming melodies. The concert features Irish-Gaelic tunes such as "Morning Has Broken" and "Brian Boru's March," as well as Norwegian Dance No. 2 by Grieg and London Trio No. 1 by Haydn. The concert also includes Jim Walker’s Mo's Art, a flute sextet based on Mozart's Piano Sonata in C, featuring soloist Cindy Chen.

University of Utah Merit of Honor Award 2010 recipient, Suzanne Forsberg, discusses her research in the mid-18th century symphony. Forsberg's presentation includes images she collected during her research travels through Europe, as well as examples of less-heard symphonies of this era.
