The Finch Lane Gallery will present the works of Tess Cook, Larry Revoir, and Grant Fuhst in exhibitions, Jan. 15-Feb. 26, 2016. An opening reception will be held Jan. 15, 6-9 p.m. Cook exhibits her latest body of work in the exhibition Food Fight, an expansion of her previous work, "Delicatessen Delicacy." Revoir uses stuffed animals as the theme for his exhibition "July 16, 1945: Enter the Anthropocene." "The Yearning Curve" is Fuhst's recent work that is largely concerned with the longing for a spiritual life and the harsh realities that often collide with such desires. The Salt Lake City Arts Council and the University of Utah Guest Writers Series will present Douglas Kearney and Raphael Dagold, Feb. 25, 2016. Kearney is a poet/performer/librettist whose third poetry collection, "Patter," examines miscarriage, infertility, and parenthood. Dagold is the author of the poetry collection "Bastard Heart." Recently, he won the American Literary Review Nonfiction Contest.
