Gallery MAR will present a special photography exhibit to raise awareness and funds for the Himalayan Cataract Project, a nonprofit organization working to eradicate unnecessary and preventable blindness in the developing world. Running April 29-May 13, 2016, the exhibit will feature a collection of images by international photographer Ace Kvale. In an effort to raise consciousness about the problem of global blindness, Kvale focused his lens on fellow adventurer and co-founder of the Himalayan Cataract Project, Geoffrey Tabin. Both men will be in the gallery May 3, for an artists reception. Dr. Tabin is scheduled to give a presentation at 7 p.m.
