Best known as the guitarist from the 1960's and 1970's band, Blood Sweat and Tears, Steve Katz came into the music world during a very influential period of Rock and Roll. Katz was a pioneer of the blues-rock genre with his early band, The Blues Project and went on to produce several best-selling albums for Lou Reed in the 1970s. Katz will offer a chronological retrospective of his career in both story and song - all infused with a humor that only a New York Jewish ex-rock star can bring to the table. His Book is titled, Blood, Sweat, and My Rock 'n' Roll Years. Visit www.slcjcc.org/JAF for information, tickets.
