Wednesday April 22nd, 2015 - 7:30 pm
The University of Utah School of Music Piano Area honors Lennox Larson Deem and inaugurates the newly-established Lennox Larson Scholarship Endowment, April 22, 2015. A celebrated teacher, Larson Deem served on the University of Utah's piano faculty for 24 years, making vital contributions to the pedagogy programs in the Piano Area. In this concert, Deem will take the stage with students and colleagues past and current. Donations to the newly established Lennox Larson Scholarship Endowment are welcome.

Saturday April 25th, 2015 - 7:30 pm
The Salt Lake Symphony will perform April 25, 2015, with guest Barbara Scowcroft, conductor of the Utah Youth Symphony and violinist with the Utah Symphony. Tickets are available at the door or by calling 801-531-7501. The orchestra will open with Utah composer John Costa's "Vignette." Shenae Anderson, the winner of the Utah Division of the Stradivarius International Violin Competition, will join the orchestra to perform Beethoven's Violin Concerto; and finally, the symphony will play Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 4 (Italian).
