Over a series of three Sundays@7 concerts, Vedrana Subotic performs many of Beethoven's best-loved sonatas. On April 20, Subotic performs Beethoven's three final piano sonatas, Ops. 109, 110, and 111. Finally, on April 28, three Utah Symphony colleagues join Subotic to perform Beethoven's instrumental sonatas: Lun Jiang for violin sonatas Op. 12, Steve Proser for Horn Sonata Op. 17 in F Major and Pegsoon Whang for Cello Sonata Op. 5 in F Major. The University of Utah Chamber Choir premiers their newly commissioned work by award-winning composer Eric William Barnum. Also featured in the concert are Eric Whitacre's "Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine" and "Sleep" as well as compositions of Vaughan Williams, Victoria, Bernell Hales, and Ko Matsushita.
