The Orem Public Library will present summer reading programs for children and teens, June 1-July 21, 2015. These programs aim to foster continued literacy and engage the minds of young people through creative workshops, presentations, and hands-on experiences. This year's summer reading programs will combine reading with nature to foster a love of reading while encouraging a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world. The Utah Lyric Opera, with the Orem Public Library and The Cultural Arts & Recreation Enrichment Program will present an elimination-based vocal competition for opera singers July 10, 2015. The audience will advance or reject singers in 3 rounds of elimination. The last singer standing will win a prize while the rest suffer death by aria.

The 2015 Timpanogos Storytelling Conference will be held Sept. 2-3, 2015. Conference goers have opportunity to learn about storytelling from Donald Davis, Eth-Noh-Tec, Bill Harley, Antonio Sacre, and many more. Attendees who purchase full event conference tickets are also invited to attend "Look Who's Talking!," the Festival's kickoff event at Mt.
