RIO GALLERY

Tuesday July 7th, 2015 - 8:00 am (13 total times)
The Utah Division of Arts & Museums will present "Spring City Atelier," June 19-July 23, 2015. Whatever it is that compels people to make art exists in abundance in Spring City, long before Scandinavian settlers came to the Sanpete valley, the people who lived there were making art. They created art to enhance their surroundings, tell their stories, and to pass their traditions down to their children. Today, people from the region continue to make utilitarian objects and works of art including mixed media, paintings, sculpture, textiles, clothing, weapons, and jewelry. An artist reception will be held June 19, 6-9 p.m. For more information, visit visualarts.utah.gov.
