On January 19, 2017, members of the theater community - from Broadway to regional theaters to high schools and colleges and community theaters - will come together to launch The Ghostlight Project. Salt Lake Acting Company will join this nationwide demonstration. On the eve of the Presidential Inaugration SLAC staff, playwrights, actors, designers and members of the community will gather outside of the Chapel Theatre to join in a collective, simultaneous action, together creating "light" for challenging times ahead. Following the light ceremony, the participants will join in singing John Lennon's “Imagine” and be invited to a reception in the theatre.
