SAM WELLER'S BOOK WORKS
Monday October 5th, 2015 - 6:00 pm
The Beehive State brims with writers of all genres and backgrounds, inspiring those who have grown up in this one-of-a-kind western environment and those who bring unique perspectives from elsewhere. This year's 15 Bytes Book Award winners demonstrate this diversity. Braden Hepner grew up in Cache Valley, Utah, and his debut novel, "Pale Harvest," takes an unflinching look at a young man's life on a dairy farm in rural Utah. Natasha Saje was born in Munich, Germany, and grew up mostly in the suburbs of New York City. Her latest book of poems, "Vivarium," creates a surprising and delightful "linguistic ecosystem." Hepner and Saje will read from their work on
Oct. 5, 2015.
