Come #GetClose on Wednesdays this winter, November through March with $1 admission! All admission fees go entirely toward conservation efforts to help ensure the continuation of endangered species protection programs, so you’re not only getting to visit Tracy Aviary; you’re also getting to help save the birds! Tracy Aviary is open year-round, so why not take advantage of the slower season by getting to spend more quality time with the birds? Free-flight encounters are held in a beautiful, heated space as well, so be sure to check that out!

This fun-filled, interactive educator training is ideal for classroom teachers, environmental educators, school administrators, after-school program staff, youth group/service organization leaders, or anyone who loves birds and wants to teach others about them. The Flying WILD program trains formal and non-formal educators to facilitate hands-on, standards-based activities that promote understanding of scientific concepts and engage students in environmental stewardship. Each activity has been created to help participants excel academically through real, scientific inquiry and learn the importance of birds and their conservation. Class is $25 and includes same-day admission to Tracy Aviary. Registration includes a copy of the 350+ page educator's guide. Educators will receive re-licensure credits.
