Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and video game players, their supporters, and Pokémon fans from throughout the West are invited to attend the 2016 Pokémon Spring Regional Championships the weekend of May 28th and 29th. The Utah State Fairpark is hosting the open event where competitors will vie for the coveted title of Pokémon Spring Regional Champion and valuable Championship Points. Players that achieve a top Championship Points ranking following the 2016 Pokémon U.S. National Championships in Columbus, OH this July will earn an invitation to compete at the 2016 Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco, CA in August. The Pokémon TCG Regional Championship begins Saturday, May 28th at 9:00 a.m. while the Video Game Championship will be held in its entirety on Sunday, 29th beginning at 9:00 a.m. Players of all ages and skill levels in good standing are encouraged to participate in the family-friendly event. The Artist Blacksmith Association of North America is a national association with over 4000 members from around the world. The group was formed in the late 1960's, and currently leads the revival of the art and crafts of blacksmithing -- which had mostly died out in the United States. Today, American blacksmiths have created a major art movement inspiring folks from around the world. Much of this work will be exhibited in Salt Lake City during the Conference July 13-16, 2016. Those wishing to attend the conference may register at abana.org/Conferences/2016/contents/en-us/d5_Register.html. You are also welcome to attend the free portion of the conference on the evenings of July 15-16.
